Professional Profile

A practitioner at the intersection of systems, processes, and operating models.

I've spent much of my career working at the intersection of systems, operations, and real organisational complexity — fifteen years across heavy manufacturing, mining and metals, FMCG, fintech, and multi-entity industrial holdings.

Biography

Portrait of Mohammad Mehrabani

I design and run the kind of work that lets large industrial organisations actually operate at scale — enterprise systems, business processes, and the operating models that hold them together. Most of that work has been ERP-centred, because in practice ERP is where an organisation's decisions about how to operate quietly become permanent.

The career has moved through heavy-vehicle manufacturing, international FMCG, financial technology, and mining and metals — sectors where a misaligned operating model is not an abstraction. It shows up in throughput, working capital, and the commitments an organisation can or cannot keep to its customers.

Most operational problems are not technology problems. They are coordination, process, and decision-making problems. The work I do sits across three disciplines — enterprise architecture (how systems fit together), process architecture (how work is structured), and operating-model design (how strategy, capabilities, and people are configured) — and tries to keep them honest with each other.

I'm now based in the United Kingdom, building toward doctoral research in AI-driven decision support, digital twins, and uncertainty-aware operational systems — grounded in the same enterprise practice that has shaped everything before it.
